Mr. Kefor an English teacher at Norton High School created a painting called “Still Life.” There is not really much action in this painting. A major contribution in this piece is the cement blocks in the front. The acrylic paint was a smart choice for paint.
The composition itself was well put together. The warm red that was used was good harmony with the rest of the piece. The overall perspective of this image is aesthetic. When coming close to the picture one sees the texture and tone of the picture. The picture tells an abstract narrative.
“Still Life” by Mr. Kefor is a picture of a room with different kids of skull and a dresser. But why doesn’t it show more of the room? Why is there an animal skull in the room? Why is there a human head? What’s with the cement blocks and the jewelry boxed locked? These are all things to think about.
